Bowling Green, OH Upward Basketball is back! After serving the BG community for over 15 years, the league was relaunched in 2024 and continues to grow. All games are held at the BGSU Rec Center, with each season tipping off in January.

Our league is 100% volunteer-based, led by some of the most devoted and upstanding volunteers around. As part of Upward Sports, we are committed to sharing the hope of the gospel through halftime devotionals and by modeling biblical principles through our coaches and volunteers.

Season Info & FAQs

REGISTRATION:

Early Bird: Opens October 1 – $140
Regular: $150 after November 1

SCHEDULE:

Practices: One hour per week (Mon–Thu, 5–8 p.m.) at BG Church of the Nazarene, FUM Church, or Conneaut Elementary.
Games: Saturday mornings at the BGSU Rec Center
- Gold Division co-ed (ages 10–12): 8:30–9:30 a.m.
- Silver Division co-ed (ages 8–9): 9:45–10:45 a.m.
- Bronze Division co-ed (ages 6–7): 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Each team practices 1 hour per week and plays a 1 hour game on Saturday mornings.

To keep the league competitive, we cannot honor player or coach requests.
Space is limited—register early to secure your spot.
