Upward Flag Football
Established in 1995, Upward Sports is the world’s largest Christian youth sports provider. Upward Sports is the only organization that offers the 360 Progression™, a uniquely designed total sports experience that adapts and expands as players grow in their personal athletic journeys. The 360 Progression develops total athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially – producing players who excel both on and off the field.
Today, approximately half a million players at more than 2,000 churches in 47 states participate in camps, clinics, and leagues through Upward Sports’ Recreation Division.
BG Upward Sports has provide the community of Bowling Green with a flag football program since 2011. Upward Flag Football leagues (K-6th) offer a safe, dynamic, and competitive environment for young athletes to both discover and develop the skills and techniques necessary to succeed on both sides of the ball.
Practices are once a week for 1 hour. Game days are 1 hour every Saturday.
We provide skill based development, dynamic competition, and high focus on key positions. The driving purpose behind Upward Sports is a desire to help young athletes PLAY WITH PURPOSE which is why we have half time devotionals both during practice and game day!

Our program depends 100% on the support of volunteers who help ensure that our programs run smoothly and soundly. Coaches, referees, game day experience workers– there are so many different ways to get involved!

Don’t worry, Upward Sports will be there with you all along the way and provide all the resources you’ll need to instruct your team and have a lasting impact in their lives.
